Funnyman Ben Stiller is celebrating after his online charity campaign raised $50,000 to build a school in Haiti.

The Meet the Fockers star agreed a deal with bosses at Yahoo, who pledged to give the actor $1 for every user who clicked on an online photo he posted of himself at the Cannes Lions advertising festival in France.

Executives at the internet company will now hand over a $50,000 check for a temporary school to be constructed in the earthquake-ravaged country.

In a post on his Twitter account, Stiller writes, "Hey - woke up in Europe to learn we reached our goal of 50 thousand shares - THANK YOU!! Yahoo will build us a school in Haiti."
