More than one year after they broke up, Ashton Kutcher has filed to officially end his marriage to Demi Moore - the "Two and a Half Men" star has finally started the divorce proceedings. Kutcher allegedly wanted to give Moore the chance to start the divorce proceedings but wound up doing it himself. The couple reportedly broke up due to Kutcher's infidelity.

According to, the actress is "genuinely happy" now and ready to move on.

In November 2011 the couple announced they were splitting up after six years of marriage. The couple wed in 2005 and do not have any children together. Moore has three adult daughters from her past marriage to Bruce Willis.

Kutcher hired celebrity attorney Laura Wasser and on Friday filed papers in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.
According to, the actor is not seeking spousal support and has not asked a judge to deny Moore financial aid should she request it.
Kutcher, 34, is currently dating his former "That '70s Show" co-star Mila Kunis, while 50-year-old Moore was most recently linked to director Julian Schnabel's art collector son Vito. The May/December romance lasted less than two months, and Schnabel reportedly called things off partially because of her star status and the constant presence of paparazzi.
