Neil Patrick Harris is returning to Broadway to star in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," a cult musical about a transgender East German singer. NPH just hosted the Tony Awards last week, and on Monday producers of the stage show announced that the "How I Met Your Mother" star would be joining the cast. The show is expected to open on Broadway next spring. The production was adapted for the screen in 2001. (story)

Miss Connecticut Erin Brady won this year's Miss USA pageant on Sunday night, making her the first ever winner from the Nutmeg State. 50 other women represented the rest of the U.S. along with American Samoa. TV chef Nigella Lawson's husband has been cautioned for assaulting her after photos of him grabbing her neck at an outdoor cafe surfaced. Charles Saatchi said he wasn't squeezing his wife's neck and it was just a small spat the two had during lunch, but now the art collector has admitted he assaulted his wife after police cited him. According to London's Daily Mail, Saatchi said he accepted the police citation because he "didn't want it hanging over us for months." Saatchi initially said he wasn't squeezing her neck during the argument, which he called a "playfull tiff" over their kids, despite some unpleasant looks on his wife's face (see the despicable photos here). Lawson has reportedly moved out of the couples home since the incident. (story)
