Alexandra Daddario Showed Off Her Sexy Curves In A Skin-Tight Dress At The Emmys
True Detective star Alexandra Daddario hit the Emmy Awards ceremony on Monday night to show her support for castmates Matthew McConaughy and Woody Harrelson, both of whom were nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actor In A Drama Series.
Neither star won, but the show did pick up the Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series award, which was presented to Cary Joji Fukunaga.
Alexandra showed off her amazing curves in a skin-tight, sparkling nude gown designed by Reem Acra, a New York-based Lebanese designer.
The actress recently spoke with ELLE magazine, along with co-star Michelle Monaghan, addressing criticism that "True Detective" is a sexist show, which neither actress believes.
"I started to hear that, but I do think that was a misguided criticism," Monaghan said red carpet at Monday night's Emmy Awards. "I have to be honest with you: The show was depicting two deeply flawed characters.
"I think it also came from [the critics] not seeing the entire series. Maybe in the end, people would take some of those comments back."
Daddario added, "The thing is that the story was about these two male characters. The female characters were there to help propel their storyline, which is perhaps why people felt they were portrayed in a certain way.
"I think it was very honest and true to what their stories were."
