Alex Pettyfer has been hired to star in a film inspired by the real life experiences of stripper-turned-actor Channing Tatum.
The "I Am Number Four" star has been picked to lead the cast of Magic Mike, which will be directed by Steven Soderbergh and produced by Tatum.
The film chronicles the life of a young man who bares all for lusty women as he struggles to make a living.
Tatum, who wowed the ladies with his toned physique in Florida before he became an actor, will play a character who mentors the stripper.
Production is slated to begin in Los Angeles in August.
