Simon Cowell is set to surround himself with 'angels' for the new season of TV talent show The X Factor with insiders revealing he'll have three top pop females joining him as judges.

Demi Lovato has already confirmed her return to the show and now it looks as if Kelly Rowland, who served as a judge on the show in Britain, will join her.

EW.com reports Rowland is "firming up a deal" to join the show.

There is no word on the identity of the third lady but sources suggest Latina singer and actress Paulina Rubio is in talks to become Cowell's third angel.

After just one season, Khloe Kardashian has been dropped as co-host of "The X Factor." Last year, the "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star joined Mario Lopez on the second season, but she hasn't been asked to return for the third. Lopez will be back.

Judging stints on reality shows can be fairly short these days, but Demi Lovato is bucking the trend and returning to "X Factor" for a second season. The singer/actress will join Simon Cowell and two yet-to-be named co-judges for the upcoming third season of the FOX series.

The contestants this year haven’t exactly inspired much devotion from yours truly. Besides Leopard Face, they’ve mostly just been kinda there. No transcendent performances, no big-time charisma, nothing really appealing. Just contestants in a singing contest.

So I didn’t feel a thing when I saw Paige Thomas get robbed after the best performance of the season so far. Didn’t care at all. She’s not a star. She doesn’t deserve to win. Even if that performance was slick and cool, she was probably gone next week anyway. So good riddance.

‘The X Factor’ is really wasted on the young.

For the second consecutive year, we’ve seen talent-loaded teeny-boppers lack the necessary set of capabilities to make a deep run in this competition. They’re undermined by their lack of experience.

And you have to wonder why they keep doing it. Why do we keep seeing these kids ruin their best shot by going on the show too soon? We can never see them on a show like this again and now they’re forced into obscurity all due to impatience.

The curse of my favorites comes true again.

Not only did my main man Jason Brock see himself going out first, but my second favorite Leopard Face joined him in singing for her future on this show. There’s just nothing worse on these singing shows than being my favorite contestant. It’s certain doom.

The problem? Jason deserved to go home. He’s got a solid voice and is a lot of fun, but he’s a cruise ship entertainer, and one that you wouldn’t be that thrilled to be stuck with on a boat either. He was just too theatrical, too cabaret and too out of some sort of weird lounge act parody.
