Someone -- or something -- is targeting telemarketers for extinction. While some might regard this as a reason for jubilation, Mulder dedicates himself to solving the (apparent) killings. In the course of the investigation, Mulder is kidnapped by a delusional vinyl-siding telemarketer named Gary Lambert (Brian Markinson), who insists that his boss is a monster -- literally.
