After experiencing disturbing images from his past, Mulder awakens to an even more disturbing present when he is accused of a double homicide. Unfortunately, Mulder cannot account for his actions during the killings -- nor can Scully, who, like her fellow agents, must act upon the evidence at hand, which points inexorably to her partner. Mulder's only hope for exoneration is to force an eminent psychiatrist to inaugurate a drug-induced memory probe -- or to be more precise, an exorcism. Written by R.W.
