The X-Files: Synchrony
Running Time: 60 min.

Arrested for the murder of a colleague, techno-scientist Jason Nichols (Joseph Fuqua) insists that he was merely rescuing the victim from an even more horrendous fate, as predicted by an elderly fortune teller (Michael Fairman). Conducting their usual thorough investigation, Mulder and Scully discover that the motivation for the murder, and two other deaths, is a chemical capable of inducing rapid freezing. The denouement to the story may rest in the dying words of a beautiful young woman -- if indeed they are her dying words. Written by Howard Gordon and David Greenwalt, "Synchrony" was originally telecast on April 13, 1997. Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
