The title of this X-Files episode refers to the small town of Aubrey, MO, where a pregnant police detective (Deborah Strang) experiences a vision that leads her to a shallow, unmarked grave. Mulder and Scully are summoned to Aubrey when the body in the grave turns out to be that of FBI agent Sam Chaney, who disappeared some 40 years earlier during a serial-murder spree.
