Q&A: 'Justified's' Erica Tazel - A Star On And Off-Screen
Timothy Olyphant might be the star of FX's Justified, but he's far from the only one. Actress Erica Tazel has made the most out of her first series regular role as the no-nonsense Rachel Brooks.
From the pilot episode, Rachel has proven an effective balance to Raylan's more outside-the-lines approach, and we've seen their relationship grow along with her character. One of the highlights of season two came in "For Blood or Money" where we got to learn a lot more about Rachel, who has become one of Justified's most pleasant surprises, and that's because it's obvious how much thought a...

Fall Review: 'Unforgettable'
Watching CBS' new series Unforgettable gave me a hint of deja vu.
The procedural reunites former Without A Trace star Poppy Montgomery with that show's network and its executive producer, Ed Redlich. Montgomery, who's become a redhead but still looks better than most of us, stars as former Syracuse cop Carrie Wells. Carrie has the gift (or the curse) of remembering almost everything - except for the murder of her sister.
It sounds familiar, doesn't it? A main character with a tragic past, not to mention that she used to be sleeping with her new partner - former Nip/Tuck lead Dylan Walsh...

Anthony LaPaglia Needs Another Hip Replacement
Without A Trace star Anthony LaPaglia will undergo a second hip replacement operation later this year - six years after his last surgery.
The actor, 51, is an enthusiastic soccer player and regularly enjoys a kick about with his pals near his home in Santa Monica, California. LaPaglia, who used to play professionally, admits his love for the energetic sport has wreaked havoc on his hips, and he has to undergo more surgery once he completes his stint on the New York stage in Broadway opera Lend Me a Tenor.
He says, "(The other hip) is gone. I'm gonna get it done after the play."

New Doctor Show 'Miami Medical' Premieres Friday On CBS
There’s another new medical drama coming to TV. What’s going to set Miami Medical apart from all the others? For one thing, it’s a Jerry Bruckheimer production, so it can be as intense and in your face as the stalwart CSI and Without a Trace franchises.
“This is a different way of looking at a medical show,” Bruckheimer said. “It's got a lot more humor, it's got the gallows humor.”
And Bruckheimer wouldn’t make a show about just any doctors. He likes to deal with the best of the best, in this case the Alpha Team of surgeons at a trauma hospital. “They're the Rolling Stones of doctors,” Br...

TV's Most Kick-Ass Female Detectives
Once upon a television season, fans of police dramas and crime procedurals didn't think detectives could ever get more hard-boiled than Vic Mackey of "The Shield" or Andy Sipowicz of "NYPD Blue." Thankfully, we were wrong. Not only are there an increasing number of take-no-prisoners police detectives and home-sleuths on the case, but many of them are wearing skirts. From Poppy Montgomery, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Roselyn Sanchez in "Without A Trace" to Kathryn Morris in "Cold Case," "Law and Order's" S. Epatha Merkerson and the women of the CSI franchise, powerful, well-written female pro...

Newlywed actress Roselyn Sanchez can add screenwriter to her resume after penning an upcoming episode of her missing persons drama Without A Trace. The lovely Latina pitched a full treatment to executive producer Greg Walker and the episode has now been shot.
Walker even let Sanchez cast the actress who plays her missing former police partner in the episode - she picked her pal Lisa Vidal.
But Sanchez admits the timing of the shoot could have been better: "It was overwhelming for me to work 13 hours a day on such an emotional episode when I was dealing with my wedding the next wee...

Anthony LaPaglia Injured In Stunt Accident
Australian actor Anthony LaPaglia was reportedly injured on-set of his latest movie Balibo after a stunt went badly wrong.
The Without A Trace star was hurt after an explosive device discharged into his arm during a scene in which LaPaglia's character is shot. The device, which creates an authentic gun-shot sound, exploded into LaPaglia's arm instead of firing outwards, which would of looked on camera as if the star had been shot.
The star, who is filming in Darwin, was taken to nearby Royal Darwin Hospital to receive medical treatment, according to Australia's Northern Territor...

Righetti is just one of the many fresh faces gracing the small screen this fall in our Spotlight on TV Stars.

Renaissance Man Greg Laswell finds himself released from heartache with Three Flights From Alto Nido, his sophomore full-length album on Vanguard Records, to be released July 8th. Three Flights From Alto Nido is the enigmatically, yet aptly titled third volume of his trilogy of heartbreak and redemption.

CBS Adds New Night Of Comedy, Not Much Else For 2008-09 Season
Every year, the upfront presentations have a different theme. Ok, so that's not always the case, but it would be pretty cool if it was, right? This year, however, there definitely seems to be a theme emerging. NBC's presentation in April, which seemed to be heralding in an era of change, proved to be a red herring. As this week has shown us, the theme this year is not change. It is stability.
