Beginning as a series of sporadically telecast specials in 1999, the cable-TV lifestyle program Wild On... was seen with more frequency as the new millennium commenced. Hosted by the lovely Brooke_Burke (the original emcee was E! Entertainment's all-purpose female reporter Jules_Asner), the series transported its viewers to the hottest "fun" destinations in the world, from Miami to Milan. The program reached its apex in late 2002 with a contest (which more closely resembled a beauty pageant, bikinis and all) to replace the soon-to-be departing Burke. The results of this contests were revealed in a two-part special, airing August 27 and September 3, 2002.
