Fox 2008-09 Schedule Is Solid, Surprisingly Straightforward

Usually this is the time of year when people are left scratching their heads, futilely trying to comprehend the four or five schedules that Fox has just unveiled for the upcoming season. This year, however, the folks at Fox have left the confusion of a year-round schedule to NBC, instead choosing to go with a much more conventional (and less headache inducing) Fall/Spring plan.

Stardust, Desperate Housewives, Brothers & Sisters and Ugly Betty are among the nominees for the 2008 Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards.

Broadcast TV Family Hour Filthier Than Ever; FOX Is Worst, Study Shows

A new Parents Television Council study of Family Hour programming conclusively shows that children watching television during the first hour of prime time are assaulted by violence, profanity or sexual content once every 3.5 minutes of non-commercial airtime.

During the 2006-2007 study period, almost 90% of the 208 television shows reviewed contained objectionable content.

The PTC found that Fox is the worst broadcast network overall, noting its 20.78 instances of violent, profane and sexual content each hour -- nearly double the amount of similar content shown on any of the five...

Fox Announces Spring Premieres

New dramas "The Wedding Bells" and "Drive" and new comedy "The Winner" will join FOX's spring schedule, which also features new time periods for comedies 'Til Death and The War At Home and the drama Standoff.
