Dave has a rude awakening when he realizes he's no longer quite the ladies' magnet he thought he was. Meanwhile, Hillary becomes intrigued with Kenny's quieter nature, while Vicky finds herself attracting both the male kids and adults at Mike's school Career Day.
I.M. What I.M.
Vicky seeks an old flames input with regards to Larry's crossdressing, bringing up angry feelings in Dave. While on the computer, she stumbles across something he wants to remain a secret. Vicky is disappointed that Hillary no longer confides in her with her problems.
Vicky's college friend comes to town for a visit. Vicky is surprised by her sobriety. Dave worries she's in town to make amends for sleeping with him, but apologizes for seducing Vicky.
Drive Me Crazy
Dave takes a reckless driving ticket for Hillary while teaching her to drive, with the intension of creating some sort of father daughter bond, but when he gets a DUI and Hillary's still ungrateful, Dave decides to go to court and straighten things out. Mother Vicky forgets to enroll Larry into Shakespeare class and Dave and Mike take up online gambling.
West Palm Beach Story
When Dave announces that he's taking the family to visit his parents, Larry seems to be the only one interested. Getting everyone to go seems to have been the least of Dave's problems, when he discovers a nipple ring on Hillary while she's being searched by airport security. Upon arrival, Dave is already ready to head back.
Oh Grow Up
Dave is forced to deal with Hillary and Vicky's erratic behavior when the two end up menstruating at the same time. Dave's trip with Hillary to her gynecologist brings out his protective side, after he learns that Dr. Vogel is a womanizing buddy he went to high school with.
Gimme A Break (Part 2)
The family tries to make do with Vicky's absence due to her work commitments.
Larry is bent on seeing the Ice Capades, starring Brian Boitano as Bilbo Baggins in The Lord of the Rings. But when Vicky refuses to buy tickets, Larry splits forcing her to question her parenting skills. Dave tries to give Hillary some support with a certain issue, but when things backfire the parents decide they've had enough and Vicky and Dave ditch the kids.
It's A Living (Part 1)
Vicky tries her hand at a career, leaving the housework behind. Larry wins an award with a poem borrowed from a friend even as his brother faces the decision of whether or not to join the honors class.
Guess Who's Coming to Bar-B-Q
Dave offends Taye's parents when they come over for a family barbecue. When Dave apologizes, he finds he likes hanging out with Omar, Taye's father, at the country club but learns afterwards that the kids are now drifting apart. Mike comes to Dave after he develops blister problems on his man parts.
Dave worries about his daughter Hillary's new study partner and the potential lifestyle choice of his son, Larry.
The Bigger They Come
Hillary tells her parents that she wants breast implants. Larry brings his new girlfriend over to the house.
Dave first thinks his daughter is having sex, then he thinks she's actually smoking his pot when his hidden stash disappears. In confrontation, he has to admit to having a stash and blames it on Vicky's mother Betty.
The Empire Spanks Back
When Dave gets frustrated with the lack of results from discussing their misdeeds, he turns to spanking his children, but lands in trouble when Child Protective Services steps in.
A disagreement turns into a war, when Hillary ends up in the hospital after spraining her ankle. Dave is angry with Vicky for not getting his approval, before allowing Hillary to go on a ski trip, but when Vicky and Dave find out they where both lied to, things really heat up. Meanwhile Mike takes advantage of a phone call Larry is expecting in an effort to get an older woman.
Dave and Vicky try to cheer up what they assume to be Mike's depression, only Mike picks up on the situation and attempts to deviously exploit it. Meanwhile, the attention on Mike leads Larry to become very jealous, and Hillary takes a sex survey for school.
13 Going on $30,000
Dave is won over by Mike's serious interest in a Bar Mitzvah after initially being skeptical of the typical party-and-gift attitude that comes with the territory. Meanwhile, Larry gets his nerve up to ask out a pretty girl at school, while Hillary becomes smitten with Mike's attractive Hebrew tutor.
Dave Get Your Gun
Dave worries about Larry's lack of interest in manly pursuits, and becomes even more so when Larry lands the lead role in a school musical production. When Dave and Anita see him kissing another boy, they immediately conclude that he is gay. Meanwhile, Hillary gets a bad reputation after smacking a girl at school, prompting Taye to break up with her.
Like A Virgin
Dave worries about Hillary's love life when she asks her mother about sex. Kenny works against Larry's relationship.
When Dave and Vicky catch Hillary and her friend Brenda drunk in their kitchen in the middle of the night, Vicky decides to eliminate alcohol in the household so as not be a negative influence on the kids. However, Prohibition lasts only two days before Vicky and Dave succumb to free pitchers of margaritas with some friends and come home a little more giggly than usual. Needless to say, their buzz is killed when they face an embarrassed Hillary and Brenda's strict and judgmental parents at their doorstep. Meanwhile, Mike becomes a vegetarian after accidentally shooting a pigeon.
Breaking Up Is Hard to Do
Dave worries that Grandma Betty's new man might be milking her for her money. Dave and Vicky work to separate Hillary and Keith. Dave is saddened to find that Larry's interest in baseball cards is merely financially based.
