The television series "Wacky Races" is a Hanna Barbera cartoon based on the 1965 movie "The Great Race." In the show, the main character Penelope Pit Stop is racing against the likes of Dick Dastardly and his dog Muttley. The program only lasted two years [1968 - 1970] but still holds up through the test of time.
