If you haven't heard the name Shawn Ryan before, you're probably living under a rock. He's the driving force behind some of the best television in recent memory, whether it was The Shield or Terriers for FX, The Unit for CBS, or his stint as executive producer for FOX's Lie To Me during what I'd call its best season. Now he's brought us the best new show of the midseason, FOX's The Chicago Code. In advance of tonight's all-new episode, I sat down with Ryan to talk about what makes the series so good and what the chances are that one of my favorite actors might turn up if there's a seas...

Did you ever look back on something and realize your opinion of it has drastically changed? In the entertainment world, it's not uncommon. Sometimes we just don't have all the pieces; sometimes we get it wrong. In honor of those oversights and flubs, I want to introduce this column - a special series within "Rewind Recaps" dedicated to those shows I want to look back on, but can't retroactively revisit.

And now that I think about it, I really should have stopped referring to CBS' Cold Case (2003-2010) as "that show that aired before The Unit."

Known for playing receptionist Jerry on "ER" and bar owner Ben in "Men In Trees," Abraham Benrubi told TVGuide.com in 2006 that his girlfriend Nicole didn't mind watching him kissing actresses on screen. Every year, the upfront presentations have a different theme. Ok, so that's not always the case, but it would be pretty cool if it was, right? This year, however, there definitely seems to be a theme emerging. NBC's presentation in April, which seemed to be heralding in an era of change, proved to be a red herring. CBS announced today its 2008-2009 Fall Primetime Lineup, featuring five new series - two comedies and three dramas - and the launch of a new comedy block on Wednesdays.

CBS today announced plans for the premieres of its new and returning series which includes the early debut of its freshman reality series "Kid Nation," as well as "Survivor: China" and most of its Sunday lineup during the week of Sept. 17. The Network will launch the remainder of its schedule beginning Monday, Sept. 24, the official start of the 2007-2008 season.

CBS's new reality series "Kid Nation" premieres Wednesday, Sept. 19 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) followed the next night with the debut of "Survivor: China," Thursday, Sept. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT).

Former Felicity star Scott Foley is engaged to his girlfriend of nearly three years, actress Marika Dominczyk. The couple met on the set of sitcom "The Help." Foley's representative tells People, "It happened about two weeks ago. They're very happy."

Foley, 34, was previously married for three years to actress Jennifer Garner. They divorced in 2003.

He currently stars on the CBS drama The Unit and is known for his guest-starring roles on television series including Scrubs and "Jack & Bobby."

Dominczyk, 26, who was born in Poland, has appeared on TV shows including Brothers...

Dennis Haysbert was furious when he found out that his character on 24, President David Palmer, was being assassinated and told producers he would refuse to tape the scene. The star argued over the storyline for months because he felt killing the president would send out a dangerous message to viewers.

The TV season launches early this year when FOX kicks off season two of Prison Break in the tail end of August.
