IFC has acquired the complete series of Judd Apatow's Emmy®-winning high school comedy "Freaks and Geeks" (18 episodes) and college spinoff "Undeclared" (17 episodes) from Paramount Pictures Corporation. Pretty odd, considering that one of Apatow's most loved and respected works was the TV series, "Freaks and Geeks," a show that beautifully walked the line between hilarity and heartbreaking realism.

Judd Apatow Takes Over Hollywood One Film At A Time
You may not know his name, but he's the guy who did "The 40-Year-Old Virgin." Ever since releasing his breakthrough film starring Steve Carell as the awkward celibate, Judd Apatow has been cranking out movies like nobody's business. The key is how many roles he can actively fill for that fancy silver screen - Apatow writes, directs, and produces. He's a triple-threat that's got him walking all over Hollywood.
In 2007, he wrote two screenplays (Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story and Knocked Up), directed one hit ("Knocked Up"), and produced three films ("Walk Hard," "Knocked Up," and Super...

2008 TV Wishlist: An End To The Writers' Strike, A Proper Ending For 'Scrubs' & More
The new year is usually a time of reflection and resolutions. Instead of reflecting on the past TV season, we make the following wishes for the coming year, some more attainable than others.
1.) An end to the writers' strike - More than anything, let's hope that 2008 brings an end to the writers' strike with a resolution that satisfies everyone's demands. Most of this season's shows are already out of new episodes, and midseason entries like Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles aren't far behind (the show will run out of new episodes March 3). Lost (premiering Jan. 31) will be cut o...
