Will New Fox Series 'Dollhouse' Survive The Friday Time Slot?
Joss Whedon is a legend in his own right, known both for his offbeat sense of humor and his knack for writing strong female main characters. It's been a few years since his era of television gold ("Buffy The Vampire Slayer," "Angel," "Firefly") was on the air, but now he's coming back in a big way on the FOX network.
"Dollhouse" premieres February 13, starring Whedon alum Eliza Dushku (also from "Tru Calling") and sci-fi favorite Tahmoh Penikett ("Battlestar Galactica").

Awesome But Dead: Five Great TV Shows That Were Cancelled Undeservedly
Everyone can think of one off the top of their head: A TV show that got the axe way too soon. Actually, there is at least one show per season that "died before its time" - because it was killed by heartless TV executives. Here, we honour five shows that suffered an especially gruesome and undeserved death.
Profit (1996), 4 episodes aired
The best show you have probably never heard of. Also, it is the most cancelled of all cancelled shows, taken off the air by FOX after only four episodes in 1996, even though eight had been completed (and were later released on DVD).

Sixteen years ago we were first introduced to Melrose Place, an innocent (at least it started that way) spin-off of Beverly Hills, 90210 that took place in a West Hollywood apartment complex. I know as an 8-year-old boy I was excited to see what the lives of 20-something people would be like. I assumed lots of swimming and talking about art. I was wrong, so very very wrong. Seeing as the show ended its run almost 10 years ago we should look back and see just where those over-sexed and off-kilter roommates have gone. Now I can relate to what the show was about!
