Written by Donald F. Glut, the two-part Tranformers episode "Megatron's Master Plan" gets under way as the Decepticons hatch a scheme to discredit the Autobots. Using phony videotape, the Decepticons convince the humans that the Autobots have turned bad. As a result, the "good" Transformers are banished from Earth. And as if this were not enough misfortune, the Autobots' shuttle is slowly but inexorably being drawn towards the sun.
