Chronologically speaking, the Transformers episode "Thief in the Night" takes place before "Starstream's Ghost." Even so, the episode was seen on American television on October 6, 1986, after the aforementioned "Ghost." Written by Paul Davids, the story focuses on Decepticon Octane, who has spirited the defeated Tripticon to an oil-rich nation.
