Beloved TV star John Dye has died at the age of 47. The actor, best known for playing angel Andrew in the drama "Touched by an Angel," passed away at his San Francisco, California, home on Monday after suffering heart failure.

Dye racked up a number of TV credits during his career with appearances on shows including "Murder, She Wrote," "Promised Land" and "The Young and the Restless."

His "Touched By An Angel" co-star Valerie Bertinelli has since taken to Twitter to pay tribute to Dye, writing, "Dear, sweet John Dye, rest in peace."

Possibly Disney's crowning jewel in the company's "renaissance" -- the period from the late '80s to the late '90s that produced wildly popular and widely acclaimed animated flicks that became classics -- "Beauty and the Beast" is being released on DVD and Blu-ray in a combo pack on October 5.

The combo pack includes all kinds of goodies and extras: fully-restored footage (it's the first time it'll be in high def), a sing-along mode, games, a virtual tour of the castle, deleted scenes (including a never-before-seen one), and more.

Reality TV producer Mark Burnett married actress Roma Downey in Los Angeles over the weekend. Burnett, who produces TV show The Apprentice, wed the Touched by an Angel star at their Malibu home on Saturday.

According to People magazine, the ceremony was officiated by Downey's co-star, Della Reese. The couple had been neighbors for several years before they started dating in 2004.

The marriage is Downey's third and Burnett's second.
