Americans Think Oprah Is Smartest, Halle Berry Is Best Dressed

Who made the grade in celebrity superlatives? Which hook-up of '05 shocked Americans most? Parade magazine asked Americans about pop culture and entertainment in 2005. Here are the highlights:

* If Americans were on Survivor with a group of celebrities, 35% would send Paris Hilton packing first. But trailing close behind, with 33% of the vote, is George W. Bush. Tom Cruise got 12%; Britney Spears, 9%; and Jessica Simpson, 7%.

* Smartest celeb is Oprah Winfrey, with 42% of the vote. She beat Donald Trump, 24%, Jon Stewart, 11%, Brooke Shields, 9%, Bono, 8%, and Madonna, 6%.

VH1's popular fitness and nutrition series, "Celebrity Fit Club," is back for a third season on Jan 1. VH1 has gathered a hot new lineup of celebrities including Tempestt Bledsoe (The Cosby Show), Jeff Conaway (Taxi, Grease), Countess Vaughn ("The Parkers"), Bruce Vilanch (writer/comedian, "Hollywood Squares"), Kelly LeBrock (The Woman In Red), Young MC (rapper, "Bust A Move"), Chastity Bono (daughter of Sonny & Cher), and Bizarre (actor/rapper) of D12 (The Longest Yard).

Danny DeVito Goes Back to his Roots

Danny Devito is returning to the small screen in FX’s “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” according to reports. He’ll play a retired contractor who has moved back to Philadelphia to spend time with his children. The series' second season is set to debut in June, and DeVito, 61, will co-star in all 10 episodes. The actor hasn't starred in a TV series since Taxi ended in 1983.

Lions Gate Announces Voice Cast for Foodfight!

Threshold Animation Studios and Lions Gate Family Entertainment are making a trip to the supermarket a superstar affair with the announcement of casting for several voice roles in their animated epic Foodfight! Joining previously announced cast members Hilary and Haylie Duff are Charlie Sheen, Eva Longoria, Wayne Brady, Chris Kattan and Christopher Lloyd. The cast will give voice to the main characters in the feature that will include more than 15,000 characters in what may be the largest animated scene ever.
