'Survivor: Caramoan' – John Cochran Blows Away All Competition For The Title!

5/13/2013 10:48am EDT
John Cochran was crowned Sole Survivor
As the episode begins, only Cochran, Dawn, Eddie, Sherri and Erik are left in the game. After Tribal Council, Erik begins to feel dazed and disoriented, his head spinning. Jeff Probst comes to his aid, and brings in the medical team to assess Erik’s condition. His pulse is low, as is his blood pressure, and after 36 days, Erik has to be pulled from the game, for medical reasons. As the others say goodbye, Jeff gives them a pep talk, telling them they have to stay strong. There are only three days left, and one of the four will be winning the million dollar prize.

Back at camp, Cochran’s al...

'Survivor: Caramoan' – Dawn's Shocking Betrayal Of Brenda May Cost Her The Game

5/9/2013 11:07am EDT
Survivor: Caramoan
Last week on, Survivor: With Reynold and Andrea gone in last week’s double elimination, only six remain. Eddie is the last of the Three Amigos, and with Andrea’s blindside, no one feels safe.

Day 35, and Eddie feels like a sitting duck. With his ally Andrea gone, he’s sure he’ll be next to go home. While chatting with Cochran, Eddie mentions that he thinks Cochran will be next, if Eddie wins the Immunity Challenge. Cochran, paranoid as ever, thinks he may be right. Dawn is shocked to hear that Brenda and Erik are also considering Cochran, but is delighted to hear that Brenda and Erik think...

'Survivor: Caramoan' – Both Reynold And Andrea Take The Walk Of Shame

Survivor: Caramoan - Fans vs. Favorites
Last week on, Survivor: Cochran continued his reign as resident Challenge Monster, and the Three Amigos became Two as Malcolm was voted out.

Post Tribal Council, Reynold and Eddie assured the others of their intent to play hard, winning Immunity Challenges to stay in the game. Andrea conferred with Cochran, targeting Reynold as next to go.

Erik and the others are shocked when Day 31’s treemail brings another Immunity Challenge, rather than a food reward. Priority number one becomes outlasting Reynold so that they can eliminate him.

The Challenge Monster shows up to the Immunity Challenge...

'Survivor: Caramoan' – Malcolm Ousted From The Game

4/25/2013 1:39pm EDT
Survivor: Caramoan - Fans vs. Favorites
Last week on, Survivor: Stealth R Us wanted Eddie, Reynold and Malcolm out of the game. But Malcolm had a daring plan, and Phillip, so sure he was safe, found himself voted off the Island. The Three Amigos won that round, but will they continue their winning streak?

Malcolm says, “With the execution of The Specialist Phillip Sheppard, hopefully Stealth R Us will fracture.” Cochran just hopes that he never hears the phrase, “Stealth R Us” again. And Erik tells us that Phillips departure has rocked the stability of the game, but left him personally in a great spot.

Day 29: Everyone is exhau...

'Survivor: Caramoan': Malcolm Hits The Specialist Out Of Park During Craziest Tribal Council Ever

Survivor: Caramoan
Could it be? Could it really be? And would Phillip stamp his foot like Rumpelstiltskin? "The devil has told you that! The devil has told you that," cried the little man, and in his anger he plunged his right foot so deep into the earth that his whole leg went in, and then in rage he pulled at his left leg so hard with both hands that he tore himself in two.” (Brothers Grimm)

But I’m getting ahead of myself ….

Last time on, Survivor: Dawn still couldn’t stop crying at every twist and turn of the game. Andrea played both sides against the middle, with her flirtation with fireman Eddie. Phil...

'Survivor: Caramoan' – Dawn's Best Laid Plans Backfire And Michael Pays The Price

4/12/2013 8:55am EDT
Last time on, Survivor: The tribes merged, and Malcolm and Corinne seemed set to take control of the game. Cochran swept the competition to win the food challenge and immunity. And Corinne was blindsided at Tribal Council.

Things seem relatively peaceful at the new shared camp on Day 23. Reynold, who has a hidden immunity idol, feels confident in his alliance within an alliance with Malcolm and Eddie. Malcolm is still feeling safe as well, with his own idol, and the Fan boys on his side, though he misses ally Corinne.

My goodness! Phillip chats up Sherri. “I remember the first time I saw ...

'Survivor: Caramoan' Recap: Yum! Balut With A Side Of Shipworm!

Survivor: Caramoan
Previously on, Survivor: Phillip claimed to have thrown the Immunity Challenge, in order to take out Fan Julia. Corinne’s bonding with Michael angered Phillip, causing him to reconsider his vote. The rest of the tribe, however, agreed with Corinne, and Julia was voted off the Island.

Back at Bikal, Michael was relieved to still be in the tribe. Phillip pulled Corinne and Dawn aside to ‘confess’ that he threw the challenge. He said the idea had come to him in the middle of the game, and so he hadn’t warned them in advance. Corinne did not believe him for a minute. Even Dawn is surprised tha...

Jeff Probst extinguishes Julia Landauer's torch
Previously on, Survivor: The tribes were shuffled, but the Favorites still outnumbered the Fans. Gota wound up the weaker tribe, with most of the younger, fitter players now on Bikal. Gota romped all over Bikal at the Immunity Challenge, and at Tribal Council, Matt was voted out of the tribe.

Michael was devastated that his ally was gone, but decided he’d make himself indispensible to his new tribe. Corinne was already on his side, and determined that she’d be his protector. Phillip was very suspicious of the closeness between Michael and Corinne. He told Cochran that he wanted Corinne gon...

'Survivor: Caramoan' – The Tribes Swap And Matt Walks

the newly formed Gota Tribe during the sixth episode of SURVIVOR
Last week on, Survivor: Brandon blew a gasket, his tribe forfeited immunity, and voted Brandon out of the game. Reynold found a second Hidden Immunity Idol (HII).

After Brandon left, the Bikal tribe worried that Brandon’s actions had given the Gota tribe an advantage, and a renewed hope. Phillip felt Brandon’s word had damaged his own game play. Corinne was angered that no one jumped in to defend either she or Phillip from Brandon’s rants. Phillip gave the group a pep talk, and told them that they’re still the better team, and will win the game, but in private, decided that Corinne is next...

'Survivor: Caramoan' – Brandon Hantz Blows It Big Time

3/14/2013 12:47pm EDT
Jeff Probst and Brandon Hantz
Last week on, Survivor: oh what do you care? This was an insane episode, and I’m sure I’m not the only person who’s thinking …. What the ?  None of what we call game play really matters because Brandon Hantz controlled this episode with his behavior disorder. Despite being on the team that could do no wrong, that won, week after week, that the other team envied … Brandon was an angry boy. He couldn’t take another minute of … oh, sorry … I’m not sure what exactly he couldn’t take. He mentioned missing his wife and kids, and said the others could vote him out, so that he could go home to then...

'Survivor: Caramoan' - 'Kill Or Be Killed': Days Of Shamar's Life Undone By Sand

3/7/2013 10:49am EST
The Gota Tribe during the fourth episode of SURVIVOR: CARAMOAN –
Last week on Survivor, the Fan’s Shamar threatened to quit, but stayed out of a sense of ‘loyalty’ to his team, which kept losing every challenge. The Favorites were in high spirits, enjoying a triumphant return to the game. Intent on destroying the ‘pretty people alliance,’ even at the expense of the tribe’s success, Sherri and Laura manipulated the other players into voting out Hope.

Eddie and Reynold were angry and frustrated that Sherri continued to stick by the increasingly annoying Shamar. Confronted post-Council, Sherri and Laura were indignant at the notion that their manipulations...

'Survivor: Caramoan' Episode 3– I Know You Are But What Am I?

Hope Driskill and Edward 'Eddie' Fox of the Gota Tribe
Last week on Survivor, both tribes had their share of commotion, with Fan member Shamar’s laziness and attitude driving everyone crazy, and Phillip of the Favorite’s tribe just plain being crazy. But Phillip’s “Stealth R Us” crew easily won the challenge, and the Fans wound up at Tribal Council. Only Sherri’s cool manipulation saved Shamar from being voted out, and it was Allie that took the long walk.

Back at camp, Reynold told the others that he’d be using his idol to protect himself, as he no longer trusted anyone. Shamar was furious with his tribe mates, especially Reynold, whom he see...

'Survivor: Caramoan' – Is That An Idol In Your Pocket?

2/21/2013 11:15am EST
Survivor Caramoan
Last week on Survivor, 10 past favorites and 10 new fans arrived in the Philippines to play this season’s competition. 4 of the new fans formed a ‘cool kids’ club, angering the others on their tribe, while the usual suspects (Brandon Hantz, and Phillip Sheppard, aka Captain Pink Underpants) stirred the soup on the other.

After losing the Immunity Challenge to the Fans, the Favorites made Survivor history by voting out Francesca Hogi, who became the first person to be voted out first both times she played the game.

Returning home from Tribal Council, Brandon is furious that his fellow Favo...

'Survivor: Caramoan - Fans vs. Favorites' - Begins February 13!

'Survivor: Caramoan - Fans vs. Favorites'
Just when I finally got the image of Phillip Shepherd’s pink briefs scraped off my burned retinas – they’re making a comeback. Yes, Survivor (and Phillip) will return February 13 for its 26th season, as Survivor: Caramoan — Fans vs Favorites.

Blessedly, the delightful Malcolm Freberg, fourth place in last season’s Survivor, will be another of the Favorites. Apparently, he was on his way back to the island just two and a half weeks after placing fourth on Survivor: Philippines.

But it’s not all good news; John Cochran, the despicable and detested screw up from Survivor: South Pacific is ba...
