The Brady Bunch star Christopher Knight has filed for divorce from his reality TV star wife Adrianne Curry.

The couple separated in May and now Knight is keen to end the five-year union.

He filed divorce papers in Los Angeles on August 19, according to TMZ.com.

The couple met and fell in love while appearing on reality show The Surreal Life.

Actor Christopher Knight and model Adrianne Curry have separated, announcing the split on their fifth wedding anniversary.

The couple met on VH1 series The Surreal Life in 2005 and subsequently landed their own show, My Fair Brady, which documented their relationship.

They televised their 2006 nuptials and the first months of marriage, and the union hit headlines again in 2007 when Curry revealed they were seeking couples' counseling.
