What We Hope To See In 'Suburgatory Season 3

January 15th, 2014 2:30pm EST
Suburgatory
With the third season of Suburgatory almost here, there are a few things the show needs to focus on to have a more cohesive, enjoyable show.

More Shays

While the eclectic citizens of Chatswin are a huge draw for Suburgatory, there is no better family in that crazy town than the Shays. Ana Gasteyer, Chris Parnell, and Allie Grant are the most talented comedic actors on the show. Their dynamic is fantastic, never better than when they’re messing with the Altmans. George and Tessa Altman can be a bit boring (which is a side effect of being the straight men) so they need their wacky neighbors...

Happy Endings producers Jonathan Groff and David Caspe joined their colleagues at Modern Family, Suburgatory and The Middle for a panel of ABC Comedy Show Runners for the Television Critics Association. October 28th, 2011 11:00am EDT
The X Factor
Thanksgiving is a few short weeks away, and before you slice into those turkeys, let’s take a look back at the new TV shows that are thriving and those that don’t have a Thanksgiving prayer. We’ll break it down by category.

The Zooey Deschanel comedy was the first fall series to earn a full season pickup, and for good reason: Its ratings are better than lead-in ‘Glee’ and it’s frequently tops on Tuesdays in 18-49. To date it’s ave...

These decisions are never easy for me because I don't believe in one-night stands. If I decide to give a new show a shot, I'm fully aware that the first date will probably be average at best, and that it may take a few weeks to really get into a groove. There's a certain level of commitment there. And I always worry that I'm going to commit to the wrong...
