Disney Launching New 'Star Wars' Animated Series In 2014
Just months after acquiring Lucasfilm in a multi-billion-dollar deal and announcing a plan to continue the Star Wars movie saga well into the future -- starting with "Star Wars Episode VII" in 2015 -- Disney has announced the development of a new animated series, "Star Wars Rebels," which is set to premiere in fall 2014.
The announcement comes on the heels of the studio's cancellation of the Cartoon Network's "Star Wars: The Clone Wars," animated series, a move that was made because the show aired on the rival network, owned by Time Warner.

'Revenge Of The Fifth' - 'Star Wars' Day Should Have A Sequel
With yesterday's unofficial-official Star Wars Day behind us it only seems fitting that such an iconic film series should have its own sequel. After all, the Saga is legendary, having transformed how people watch movies by both pushing forward the technolgies used in filmmaking and in birthing the modern blockbuster.
Two sequels, three prequels, a TV series and an instantly recognizable brand name visible at nearly every retailer in our galaxy, the franchise is still running strong. When's the last time you walked down a Walmart toy aisle without seeing numerous empty pegs where characters...

May The Fourth Be With You - Happy Star Wars Day!
On May 25, 1977, director/writer George Lucas re-invented the movies with a risky new film he created called Star Wars.
The film's success spawned two sequels (The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi), three prequels (Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith), a TV show (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), and a myriad of "Expanded Universe" stories - from novels to comic books to video games.

Q&A: Ashley and David Eckstein Celebrate Fandom With 'Her Universe'
One of the joys of fandom is being able to share your passions. And thanks to Ashley and David Eckstein, that just got a lot easier (and cooler) for women.
Representing one's fandoms can be a difficult task for the female gender. I say that from experience; I'm all about showing off my allegiances. One of those happens to be to the San Diego Padres, and I went on a rant when there wasn't a T-shirt for my favorite second baseman, a certain David Eckstein. You can imagine my delight to hear that someone that I am a huge fan of was making it easier for me to represent the things I love.
