Battleship Galaxies
When the good folks at Hasbro sent me Battleship Galaxies, I was skeptical. I grew up playing the electronic version of Battleship, and all I ever did was cheat at it because I found it so boring. I was convinced that I'd just be bored again, this time in space. Thankfully,...

King Of Jordan Plans 'Star Trek' Theme Park
King Abdullah II of Jordan is the driving force behind an ambitious "Star Trek" theme park planned for the Middle East.
The royal, who reportedly filmed a cameo for a 1990s episode of "Star Trek: Voyager," is the main money man behind the development in Aqaba, Jordan, according to TheNational.com.
The king is using cash from his Fund for Development to help investors get the project off the ground, hoping it will boost Jordan's profile as a tourist destination.
The Red Sea Astrarium project is scheduled to open in 2014.

Mila Kunis Is Funny, Sexy & 'A Massive Trekkie'
Mila Kunis sizzles on the cover (and in the pages) of the August issue of GQ - the magazine's annual 'comedy issue' - but she gets very serious when it comes to one of her passions: Star Trek.
When asked about starring with with Trek legend William Shatner in American Psycho 2 back in 2002, the Friends With Benefits star revealed that she's a "massive Trekkie" despite not getting into the epic sci-fi series until her late teens.
"I got into it later than most people. But let's not talk about it in the past tense. I'm still a Star Trek fan. You never stop being one," she says.

Former "Star Trek" actor Walter Koenig has issued an emotional plea to his son Andrew to get in touch after he went missing in Vancouver, Canada earlier this month.

Everything Geeky: Sci-Fi Shows You May Have Missed
After watching the premiere of "V" last night, I was starting to wonder if Sci-Fi is going to make a real comeback into the spotlight. Let's face it, the popularity of this genre has risen in the past few years. It is no longer just the diehard Trekkies that care about Spock and Kirk, but the newcomers swarming after J.J. Abrams' reboot.
With shows like "Lost" and "Heroes" gaining notice on major television networks and the critical acclaim of "Battlestar Galactica," the stereotypes of typical "sci-fi nerds" is starting to wear off. In its place are people who never cared about phasers ...

Greg Ellis Talks 'Star Trek'
On the day of this interview Greg Ellis had just learned that his show -- TNT's Eric McCormack, Tom Cavanaugh vehicle, Trust Me -- had been cancelled. Instead of languishing on the demise of his series (in the distance you can hear the sound of about a dozen Trust Me questions being ripped up) we, instead, discussed this upcoming little art-house film he's appearing in, Star Trek. Greg discusses his role as Chief Engineer Olsen -- the man who had the job before a certain Montgomery Scott -- and what it was like working on another small little film, Titanic.

ABC Stresses Stability, Not Ingenuity, With 2008-09 Schedule
NBC got a jump start on the other broadcast networks with its "in-front" presentation last month, which occurred a full six weeks before the traditional upfront period. At that time NBC, mired in last place amongst the Big Four (poor CW barely registers as a blip and therefore does not count), presented a bold, dynamic and risky 2008-09 year-round schedule.
In the weeks that followed, there was naturally some speculation as to whether or not the other networks would follow NBC's lead and change the rules of the game. ABC, which unveiled its 2008-09 plans yesterday, was the first to...
