An auction of more than 700 items belonging to singer and actress Cher has raised over $3.5 million, far exceeding initial expectations. Devoted fans snapped up Cher's possessions at the two-day sale held in Los Angeles in conjunction with Julien's Auctions and Sotheby's. The items were originally expected to bring in between $1.4 million - $1.6 million.
