'Six Million Dollar Man' Injures Elbow On Sitcom

Six Million Dollar Man Lee Majors is nursing an hurt arm after badly injuring his elbow shooting a TV role. The 69-year-old actor bashed the joint on the set of Jim Belushi-starring sitcom According To Jim.

Entertainment Tonight reports Majors refused to seek help straight away, for fear of disrupting the final day of filming. Instead, an onset doctor drained fluid from the elbow between scenes.

Majors has a recurring role, playing God, in the show.

Lindsay Lohan stunned two Las Vegas radio presenters when she called their show on Friday to win a pal hard-to-get Miley Cyrus tickets.

Mix 94.1 DJs Mark and Mercedes offered up a pair of tickets for teen star Cyrus' upcoming Hannah Montana show in Sin City to the listener who could get the most famous person to call in.

Rocker Slash and the former Six Million Dollar Man Lee Majors phoned the show - to win the tickets for friends - but the competition was over when Lohan called. The gracious actress even agreed to stay on the line and chat with the presenters live on air.

Independent media agency TargetCast tcm has picked five new network shows they think will be hits, along with the five they think will fall to the bottom of the heap as the primetime season begins in a week.

British Actress Lands 'Bionic Woman' Role

British actress Michelle Ryan has beaten out competition from some of Hollywood's leading ladies to land the title role in a TV update of 1970s television show The Bionic Woman. The original show starred Lindsay Wagner and ran from 1976 to 1978. It was a spin-off from the Lee Majors-starring The Six Million Dollar Man.

22-year-old Ryan, best known in her native UK as Zoe Slater in BBC soap Eastenders, has signed up to play Jamie Sommers, a professional tennis player who suffers a skydiving accident before being transformed into The Bionic Woman.
