The second season of the reality series The Simple Life follows wealthy hotel heiress Paris Hilton and her friend Nicole Richie, the adopted daughter of superstar singer/songwriter Lionel Richie, as they travel through the heartland of America in a mobile home. The fish-out-of water premise of pampered rich girls interacting with the great unwashed plays out again, this time as the girls meet a variety of individuals as opposed to staying with one family as they did during the first season of this Fox series.
