Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) discovers that Big (Chris Noth) takes his mother (Marian Seldes) to church every Sunday; when he finally introduces Carrie to his mom, he describes her as his "friend," and Carrie begins to wonder if their relationship has a future. Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) begins dating a devout Catholic (John Benjamin Hickey) who insists on showering after sex, leading Miranda to ponder if she might be better off with Skipper (Ben Weber) after all. Samantha (Kim Cattrall) thinks she may have finally found the man (Jamie Goodwin) she can settle down with, until she comes to the conclusion that size really does matter.
