A reluctant Fred (Redd Foxx) accompanies his son Lamont (Demond Wilson) and Lamont's new girlfriend Sandra (Janee Michelle) on a visit to an art museum. Unexpectedly inspired by the splendor of a modern-architecture exhibit, Fred vows to raise the aesthetic level of his own neighborhood.
