Return To Reno! New Episodes Of "Reno 911!" Debut April 1 At 10:30 P.M.

After a trip to the silver screen and some Miami vice, the Reno cops return to their roots in new episodes of "Reno 911!" on Sunday, April 1 at 10:30 p.m. The half-hour comedy is created by and stars Robert Ben Garant, Kerri Kenney-Silver and Thomas Lennon as cops on the beat in Reno, Nevada. This hilarious take on the traditional cop drama is a character-driven comedy with soap opera-like twists and turns.

Encore presentations of "Reno 911!" air Sundays at 1:00 a.m.

The debut episode on April 1 features the Reno Sheriff's Department getting a corporate sponsor: Hotty's Restaurant...

"Reno 911!" co-stars-writers-executive producers Robert Ben Garant, Thomas Lennon, and Kerri Kenney-Silver first met in college, where they created a comedy troupe they called The State. According to Garant, who also directs Reno 911!: Miami, it was not an obvious match. "Kerri was very Westport, Tom wore suits, cowboy boots and an eye patch – and I was scared of both of them. Somehow, we all ended up in a comedy troupe, and for some reason we all took it really seriously."

MGM, New Line Television and Comedy Central announced today that two of the cable network's most popular shows, RENO 911! and Chappelle's Show, will be the first programs to be syndicated by MGM under the new strategic relationship with New Line.

"RENO 911!" is a half-hour comedy about cops patrolling Reno, Nevada. The series, now in its fourth season, is a hilarious take on the traditional cop drama with soap opera-like twists and turns.

Summer and fall 2006 will be chock full of brand spanking new comedy on Comedy Central. Viewers have a large plate to choose from: new series ("Dog Bites Man," "Freak Show") to new specials (Blue Collar Comedy Tour: One for the Road, "Jamie Kennedy: Unwashed") to returning series (Chappelle's Show, RENO 911!) and acquisitions (Scrubs).

Former Baywatch babe Donna D'Errico is divorcing rocker husband Nikki Sixx. The Playboy playmate handed the divorce papers to the Motley Crüe bassist on Friday, citing irreconcilable differences. The star couple have been married nine years and have a five-year old daughter, Frankie-Jean, whom D'Errico is seeking physical custody and joint legal custody of.
