Star Promises This Halloween Costume Will Get You Lots Of Play
So what sexy Halloween costume will get you the most action? Is it Superman with skin tight spandex? Is it a gladiator from 300 with six pack abs? You may be surprised, but it’s Lt. Dangle from the TV comedy Reno 911. Thomas Lennon, the real actor who played Dangle, has proof that his costume is the best for Halloween groping.
“Here’s the thing about the Lt. Dangle outfit,” Lennon said. “It’s the best Halloween costume ever because everybody wants to fiddle with you when you’re in it. It literally is like a welcome mat to your butt saying ‘Come play with me.’”

'Reno 911!' Co-Creator Announces Cancellation On Twitter
Thomas Lennon, co-creator of the Comedy Central live-action show Reno 911!, has announced via Twitter that the show won't be returning for a seventh season.
The message reads: "Reno 911! was cancelled at 1:30 pm today. Won't be wearing the shorts again."
The show was a mockumentary-style parody of "COPS" and other law enforcement shows, featuring improvised dialog and the entire cast of "The State" in reoccurring or cameo roles. The sixth season's cast was radically changed, with Carlos Alazraqui, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and Mary Birdsong leaving the show.

The first three weeks of the summer movie season started out a bit slow, but from here the momentum really starts to build. There's a spike in the number of movies premiering with six coming out this week, two of which are sequels. One of those sequels is a movie I've been anticipating since I heard it was in development. Hint: it involves giant robots, and it's not "Transformers 2."

What To Watch In March? Spotlight On Mid-Season Shows
Once upon a time in a magical land called Hollywood, harried and somewhat unkempt writers bit their nails down to the quick awaiting news on if their pilots would receive full season orders, be given solid "Nos," or worse: be relegated to the limbo that is "mid-season replacement" territory.
Such shows aren't guaranteed to air at all, particularly if the initial fall line-up (the shows that network executives felt had the most potential) succeeds. And if mid-season shows do get a shot after premature cancellations, there is no guarantee they will find an audience, considering so many ...

Comedian George Lopez has been tapped as the latest celebrity to host his own late-night talk show.
The Beverly Hills Chihuahua star turn in the Sandra Bullock-produced The George Lopez Show secured him a leading name on the small screen, even though the sitcom was canceled in 2007 after a five-year run. The show's syndicated success has reportedly spurred talk of Lopez hosting yet another program produced by Warner Bros.

Finding The Right Halloween Costume And Ones To Avoid
Picking the right Halloween costume can get tricky, especially when you're over the age of twelve. One thing that you need to be aware of in your selection is that there's a fine line
between having a good Halloween costume and making an ass of yourself. The same basic childhood rules still apply today: wear nothing that heavily restricts movement or vision, wear nothing that will burst into flames, and a homemade costume always trumps something store bought. Once you get the right idea, putting together a costume is easy. It's getting the idea that's the hard part. As Halloween sweeps i...

A Look At The Evolution Of The Web Series
It's pretty apparent that the emergence of original programming on the internet, debuting at only minute-and-a-half to three minute clips, was geared directly at the teenage set-- playing into the whole shortening attention span and need to get their entertainment from the same rectangular box that they get the research for their term papers and with which they network and communicate with friends. Web series, as they were deemed, didn't officially become an official part of new media until they began to gain widespread popularity with lonelygirl15, a video blog from a so-called teenage gir...

Summer TV Preview: Forget the Beach, Cable Is The Place To Be
While the cable networks still lag far behind the broadcast networks in the ratings department (well, four of them anyway), they have made great strides in terms of matching, and often times exceeding, the big dogs when it comes to quality original programming.
At no time of the year is this trend more evident than in the summer. While the broadcast networks are unsurprisingly going with a bevy of unscripted fare (including entirely too many reality competition shows), the cable networks are once again proving to be the place to turn for quality, original, SCRIPTED programming.

Three Best & Worst TV Shows Turned Into Big-Screen Films
With so many long-running series coming to an end lately, it hasn't taken long for message boards and fansites to buzz with ideas for big-screen reunions. There are a ton of television shows already green lit and in various stages of development (The A-Team, Dallas, and I Dream of Jeannie to name a few). It doesn't seem too farfetched to assume even more producers are awaiting the opening numbers from this Friday's release of Sex and the City: The Movie before they offer a firm stance one way or the other.

There May Be Cracks, But The Comedy Glass Ceiling Still Exists For Women
In this town (Los Angeles) and this industry (entertainment), there are a handful of strong, intelligent, funny women who - once they finally broke onto the radar - have worked consistently in equally strong, intelligent, funny roles.
After reading this month's "Who Says Women Aren't Funny" issue of Vanity Fair, it is impossible not to notice just how many beyond the current "it" girls of comedy were left off that list (which included funnygirls such as Tina Fey, Sarah Silverman and Amy Poehler). This is an attempt to rectify that and garner them the recognition they so rightly dese...
