Latest TV Casualties: 'Three Rivers,' 'Raising The Bar' Canceled

12/1/2009 12:54pm EST
Three Rivers
Three Rivers starring Alex O'Loughlin has been canceled, according to TVGuide.com. Effective immediately, CBS will air repeats of Criminal Minds and NCIS: Los Angeles instead of the medical drama.

The series will complete production on all 13 episodes from the show's original order, but there's been no word on whether they will air.

Pre-Season 2009 TV Report Card: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

9/21/2009 12:30pm EDT
Desperate Housewives
Since CNN has such a blast creating a report card to track the Presidency, we decided to have some fun with television. Which networks come out strong and which ones need to do better homework?

The Good: The dramas are what keep us coming back to ABC. Grey's Anatomy, Brothers & Sisters, FlashForward, and V are worth looking forward to. The one comedy that stands out and may hold itself against NBC's stellar comedies, Modern Family, is worth a few episodes past the pilot.

The Bad: Dancing With The Stars is extremely popular, however sometimes too much of a ...

It's possible you don't recognize the name John Michael Higgins -- as he even points out in this interview -- but everyone has seen him in something. John Michael Higgins joins us to discuss his two upcoming films -- "The Ugly Truth" and "Couples Retreat" -- plus speculate on the return of his "Arrested Development" character, Wayne Jarvis, in a possible feature film. Mayim Bialik Discusses 'Saving Grace', 'What Not To Wear', And Yes 'Blossom'

7/14/2009 11:16am EDT
Mayim Bialik
Mayim Bialik -- Yes, that Mayim Bialik -- is appearing tonight (Tuesday at 10 pm ET on TNT) as the daughter of a murder victim on "Saving Grace." Don't assume she's the culprit just because you're thinking, as Mayim says, "why else would Blossom be in the first scene" as she was on "Bones" last season --which would have been a false prophecy, it turns out. Mayim also discusses her recent (and quite popular) appearance on "What Not to Wear" and talks about her time on a show called "Blossom."

Mayim Bialik: Hello!

Mike: Hi Mayim, how are you?

Mayim Bialik: OK, how are you?

Mike: P...

Mark-Paul Gosselaar
Mark-Paul Gosselaar joins us to discuss the second season of "Raising the Bar" (premiering June 8 at 10 pm on TNT), his time on "NYPD Blue," the Jimmy Fallon "Saved By The Bell" reunion and also tries to wrap his head around a question that he's never heard before: How three Indiana junior high school students (on "Good Morning, Miss Bliss"/"Saved by the Bell: The Junior High Years") could all, a year later, find themselves living in California for their freshman year of high school, along with their junior high principal, with no explanation.

Mike: The first question would usually be,...
