As the summer sun begins to fade and fall becomes more and more of a reality, the one redeeming certainty remains the anticipated fall TV season that lies ahead.

To usher in America’s favorite shows, Comcast recently announced the findings of its second annual "TV Pulse Survey" that revealed America’s most-anticipated new and returning primetime series.

AMC announced today that acclaimed film actors Jim Caviezel and Ian McKellen have signed on to star in the network's reinterpretation of the highly influential 1960's cult classic, The Prisoner.

AMC is co-producing the six-part mini-series with ITV Productions and Granada International, with a worldwide premiere slated for 2009. In an effort to further develop and define its distinct cinematic blueprint for bold original television programming, AMC announced today that it will remake the 1960s groundbreaking television classic, The Prisoner.
