Gay Blue Power Ranger Angry At Show Execs For Discrimination

Actor David Yost has ended years of speculation surrounding his sexuality by coming out as gay - and he's taken aim at the creators of TV series "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" for discriminating against him.

The star, who played Blue Ranger Billy Cranston from 1993 to 1996 and in a 1995 feature film, reveals to nopinkspandex.com he eventually quit the show because he was constantly harassed for being gay.

And Yost, now 41, says his treatment was so bad he suffered a nervous breakdown and struggled to accept his sexuality following his departure.

The "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" have been saved a year after TV bosses at Disney decided to drop the children's action series.

The 17th season of the show, which began in March 2009, was to be the last - but the media mogul who launched the "Power Rangers" franchise in the 1990s is planning to relaunch the series.

Haim Saban has bought back the rights to "Power Rangers" from Disney bosses, who took control of the property in 2001.

American TV actor Walter Jones has been arrested for driving under the influence. Jones, known for playing the role of the Black Ranger Zack Taylor on the hit television series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, was taken into custody on Sunday night by State Troopers in Huntsville, Alabama.

According to TMZ.com, the 38 year old met bail and was released. No further information regarding the arrest was made available as WENN went to press.

Former 'Power Ranger' Sentenced To Death

Actor Skylar DeLeon has been sentenced to death for murdering Arizona couple Tom and Jackie Hawks.

The former child star and Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers regular has been convicted of chaining the couple to the anchor of the luxury yacht they were trying to sell him and throwing them overboard in 2004. Their bodies have never been found.

Deleon then claimed the boat as his own.

His lawyer pleaded for a life sentence, but the jury chose to serve up the most severe penalty.Orange County Superior Court Judge Frank F. Fasel imposed the death sentence recommended on Friday.
