August 26th, 2010 2:22pm EDT
Power Rangers
Actor David Yost has ended years of speculation surrounding his sexuality by coming out as gay - and he's taken aim at the creators of TV series "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" for discriminating against him.

The star, who played Blue Ranger Billy Cranston from 1993 to 1996 and in a 1995 feature film, reveals to nopinkspandex.com he eventually quit the show because he was constantly harassed for being gay.

And Yost, now 41, says his treatment was so bad he suffered a nervous breakdown and struggled to accept his sexuality following his departure.

May 15th, 2010 6:02pm EDT
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
The "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" have been saved a year after TV bosses at Disney decided to drop the children's action series.

The 17th season of the show, which began in March 2009, was to be the last - but the media mogul who launched the "Power Rangers" franchise in the 1990s is planning to relaunch the series.

Haim Saban has bought back the rights to "Power Rangers" from Disney bosses, who took control of the property in 2001.

Saban has also reportedly signed a new TV deal with Nickelodeon and plans to air 20 new episodes, as well as the re-runs of more than 700 episodes, which ha...

Ren & Stimpy
Remember the innocence of childhood? The birthday parties. The water gun fights. The sleep overs. Oh, and the television shows! This is a countdown of the top 20 kids shows from the mid 80s and mid 90s. There are some exceptions, though, and they are as follows:

Though excellent shows, programs such as Pee Wee’s Playhouse, Sesame Street, and "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" are absent from this list. This isn’t just because they premiered decades ago but also because their target demographic was roughly children six and under, rather than kids aged seven to fifteen, which this coun...

December 30th, 2007 12:00pm EST
Jessica Simpson
2007 had some good, some bad, and some just downright ugly and unfortunate events in the entertainment business. Here's my rant on the ugly: The Biggest Movie Mistakes of 2007.

"Grindhouse" is split in two for its DVD release

I just didn't understand why movie goers were not lined up around the block. As soon as I saw the trailer and saw that it had something to do with a chick with a gun for a leg, Kurt Russell, and that Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez were behind it, I was there. What more could you possibly ask for? In this case, it wasn't just a movie, it was an experie...
