The animated series Pokemon (1997-2002) was based on a popular toy in which children "raise" an electronic monster to fight other monsters. In the TV show, Satoshi and his monster Pikachuu travel the land while honing their figthing skills. Along the way, they get into a variety of skirmishes and adventures that often involve fellow monster Nyath.<br.
