If you sift well enough past your Lindsay Lohans, Megan Foxes, etc. you can still find talented, younger (20s-30s) actresses worthy of your time. One of the best examples is Nicki Aycox.

Like most newcomers, Aycox began her career with sprinkling guest appearances bouncing from popular television shows including 3rd Rock From The Sun, Boy Meets World, and Ally McBeal. Michael Cudlitz Discusses Tonight's 'Southland' Season Finale
When Michael Cudlitz and I last spoke, back in April, I used some, well, (ahem) colorful language during an interview junket --

a junket that everyone but me thought was on live local television -- to describe his character on Southland, Officer John Cooper. New TV on DVD, March 21

South Park
A flying nun, an angry housewife, and a controversial group of fourth graders are just some of the characters appearing on DVD this week. Check out season seven of South Park, which recently endured the exit of Isaac Hayes and censoring by Tom Cruise. Also available: the complete series of Gidget, the first seasons of The Flying Nun and Over There, and the third seasons of Bewitched and Roseanne.

War Drama 'Over There' Not Renewed

FX has cancelled the war drama Over There after just 13 episodes. Set in present day Iraq, Over There followed an Army sergeant and his platoon and the lives of the families at home that are affected by the war. This was the first war drama to be built around a U.S. military conflict that is occurring at the same time.
