Yes folks, there was an award ceremony last night.

The Prime Time Creative Arts Emmy Awards were held Saturday night at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles to honor programs and individual achievements. The ceremony, held the week before the bigger Prime Time Emmys, honored the many talented individuals who work behind the scenes as well as guest performers who appeared in TV series.

Taking home the most Emmy awards was HBO with 15 awards, followed by NBC with 10; PBS with 8; FOX and Netflix tied with 7; CBS with 6; ABC had 5 respectfully. You can see the complete tabulation of awards here....

Orange is the New Black fans were freaking out last night after a website claimed the Emmy-nominated Netflix series was cancelled. However, not everything was as it seemed.

Satirical website Empire News generated a fake comment from Netflix founder Reed Hastings: "We regret to inform Netflix members that Orange is the New Black has been permanently cancelled. Also, starting September 1st, 2014, past episodes will no longer be available for streaming on Netflix."

Transgender actress Laverne Cox made history on Thursday by becoming the first openly transgender person to earn an Emmy nomination.

Actress Mary Steenburgen ("Back to the Future Part III," "30 Rock," "Justified") has revealed she will be joining the show, which is currently filming season three.

Doctors placed the actress, who also appeared in films Stepmom and Smoke, in a medically-induced coma after she was admitted to the hospital in North Carolina last month.
