The Muppet Show (1976-1981) centered on Kermit the Frog and many other characters who put on a variety show. Along with Miss Piggy, Scooter, Beaker, and Gonzo, the muppets appeared in various skits, such as "Pigs in Space" and "Muppet News Flash." Many real-life celebrities also appeared on the program.
