The sitcom Mork and Mindy (1978-1982) centered on a Mork from Ork, an alien sent to investigate Earth and report back to his home planet. Mork was not familiar with human customs and relied on his new friend Mindy to help straighten him out. The two eventually got married and had a son, Mearth from Earth, who aged backwards like his father.
