LOS ANGELES (AP) - Tom Poston, the tall, pasty-faced comic who found fame and fortune playing a clueless everyman on such hit television shows as Newhart and Mork and Mindy, has died. He was 85.

In The George Lopez Show, George is an employee at a large airplane-parts factory who is promoted to manager and finds himself in the untenable position of ordering around his old pals -- not to mention his own mother, and fellow employee, the indomitable and insufferable Benny Lopez. Seasons one and two are now on DVD. Also on DVD: season six of Murder, She Wrote and season two of Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, and Mork & Mindy.

Robin Williams has hit back at reports he's planning to reprise his beloved alien character Mork for a new movie, insisting he's not interested in the project. Williams' Mork & Mindy co-star Pam Dawber recently revealed there were plans to turn the hit TV series into a film, insisting the actor was keen to get going with the movie.

Robin Williams and Pam Dawber are reportedly in negotiations to revive their Mork & Mindy TV characters for a new movie. Dawber, who played homely Mindy McConnell to Williams' alien Mork in the hit TV sitcom, has revealed that the star has been keen to revisit the project for many years but never found the time to commit. But now Cinescape.com reports the film version of "Mork & Mindy" is a go.

Walk the Line took top honors at the 10th annual Prism Awards on Thursday. The awards were presented by the Entertainment Industries Council in partnership with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse/National Institutes of Health for works the groups believe do the best job of accurately portraying drug, alcohol and tobacco abuse.
