Hecking Order
Unhappy with having Sue at the same school as him, Axl manipulates her schedule to get her in trouble. A dispute breaks out over who is really the head of the household. Mike has a parent-teacher conference with Brick's teacher, Mr. Wilkerson.

Major Changes
After enduring a disgusting chip incident and seeing her high school nemesis win on "Wheel of Fortune," Frankie melts down and goes to her mom's house. Mike tells the kids to figure out why Frankie left and fix it.

The Test
Frankie is disturbed to learn Axl hasn't done any prep work for the PSATs. Sue wants to be a cheerleader. Mike tries to help Brick avoid getting bullied.

Bad Choices
With the house in disrepair, Frankie and Mike consider moving the family into an apartment. In order to avoid a test but still go to a party, Axl must come up with an elaborate fake sickness plan.

Halloween II
When her Halloween costume proves not to be a hit, Sue turns to Mike for input. But her dad is reluctant to help her find more adult attire. Axl comes up with a candy scam. Frankie takes Brick's social skills group trick-or-treating but finds her own social skills getting tested.

Heck's Best Thing
Frankie and Mike try to prep Axl for his interview with a college football recruiter. Sue and Brick go way over on texting charges on Aunt Edie's phone.

The Play
Things get complicated when both Frankie and Sue. are cast in a local production of "The Wizard of Oz." Brick makes the poor decision to bring his Uncle Rusty to Special Friends Day at school.

Thanksgiving III
The Hecks are happy to spend Thanksgiving at Frankie's parents' house. That is, until Frankie's sister and her family show up too. Inevitably the weekend degenerates into a series of familial accusations and backbiting.

A Christmas Gift
Frankie drunkenly invites neighbors to a Christmas party and harangues Mike for a new dishwasher, unaware that he already got her one.Brick starts reading the bible but has questions about its accuracy.

Year of the Hecks
The Hecks decide that they should be assigned New Year's resolutions. But they find the assignments more challenging than expected. Frankie accidentally leaves Brick at work.

The Map
After the death of a relative, Frankie insists the family acknowledge more milestones. After he eats Brick's school project, Axl must help create a new one. Someone has a crush on Sue.

Hecking It Up
Frankie is upset about her unimpressive volunteer role at the Super Bowl. The whole Heck family "borrows" the neighbor's car while they're away for the big game.

Valentine's Day III
Frankie is upset when Mike refuses to make a romantic gesture on Valentine's Day. Axl gets creative with a school project that is giving him trouble. Sue is put off by Wrestling Matt's new kissing style.

The Concert
Frankie goes all out to get Sue tickets to see Justin Bieber. Mike coaches Brick for his upcoming spelling bee.

The Sit Down
The kids sit Frankie and Mike down to discuss the flaws in their parenting styles, especially her nagging and his punishments.

Leap Year
Sue, whose birthday fall on Leap Day, wants a big celebration. Frankie discovers that Mike has been looking after a stray cat.

The Paper Route
Brick gets a paper route so he can afford some night vision goggles. Axl tries to persuade Sue that her relationship with Matt can't work long-distance.

Get Your Business Done
When the Hecks attend a new church, Frankie, inspired by the pastor's message of living life fully, pushes the family to take action in their lives.

The Guidance Counselor
Sue is inspired by her oddball school guidance counselor. Frankie is excited about a new bed but less so when Mike wants to build it himself. Brick tries to contact the President to get a the Presidential Fitness Challenge cancelled.

The Clover
The four -leaf-clover Brick found seems to being bad, rather than good luck. Axl doesn't know what to make of it when his friend asks Sue to the prom.

The Telling
Frankie uses Brick to inform on Axl and Sue, which upsets Mike. Sue discovers Axl sneaking home late at night and blackmails him.

The Wedding
Mike gets a surprise invite to his brother's wedding, but the wedding address is listed as the Heck house. Axl and his friends try to secure summer jobs with their own company. Brick is mad at Mike because a party he wants to attend conflicts with the wedding.
