Thanks to the creative bookkeeping of Peg Bundy (Katey Sagal), the family files a tax return that comes up short by about 5000. To avoid being thrown in jail, Al (Ed O'Neill) casts about for some fast money--and thinks he finds it when a married couple (Paul Coutos, Coleen Maloney) is willing to purchase Peg's hair. Meanwhile, Steve Rhodes (David Garrison) reveals more information than his wife Marcy (Amanda Bearse) is willing to hear.
