Hawkeye (Alan Alda), Margaret (Loretta Swit), and Klinger (Jamie Farr) are assigned to special duty at a medical aid station on the front lines. At first, these very diverse characters get along about as copacetically as oil and water. But after several hours of working together under fire with little but their wits and courage to keep them going, the three M*A*S*H stalwarts develop a new respect for one another.
