Summary:
Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Marvin the Martian, Pepe Le Pew, Road Runner, Tweety, Sylvester the Cat, and Yosemite Sam are just a few famous Looney Tunes characters. Developed in the 1930s by Warner Bros., the cartoons were originally singing and dancing skits. By the late 30s, the cartoons became edgier and included innuendos, ethnic stereotypes, and violence and were targeted towards adult moviegoers. In the 50s, Looney Tunes crossed over to television, and the cartoons were eventually edited so children could enjoy them.
