December 3rd, 2010 12:10pm EST
Leverage
TNT is giving us one heck of a Christmas present: the return of Leverage. The series returns to finish out its third season with a two-week event - first with its Christmas episode on December 12, and then with a two-hour season finale the following week. To get you ready to get even, I sat down on Wednesday with series stars Timothy Hutton (Nate Ford) and Beth Riesgraf (Parker) to dish about what's happened over the season and what fans are about to dig into.

The first episode back is a holiday-themed episode. I have a dislike for holiday episodes, because a lot of the time, they c...

Pre-Season 2009 TV Report Card: The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

September 21st, 2009 12:30pm EDT
Desperate Housewives
Since CNN has such a blast creating a report card to track the Presidency, we decided to have some fun with television. Which networks come out strong and which ones need to do better homework?

MAJOR NETWORKS

ABC: B

The Good: The dramas are what keep us coming back to ABC. Grey's Anatomy, Brothers & Sisters, FlashForward, and V are worth looking forward to. The one comedy that stands out and may hold itself against NBC's stellar comedies, Modern Family, is worth a few episodes past the pilot.

The Bad: Dancing With The Stars is extremely popular, however sometimes too much of a ...

Aldis Hodge - Leverage
Tonight's episode of Leverage (9pm ET on TNT) -- An episode we saw earlier this week and think it's the best episode of the season -- has the team going head-to-head with a rival gang of thieves that features Griffin Dunne and Wil Wheaton. Aldis Hodge -- who plays computer hacker Alec Hardison -- joins us to discuss the current season and to make sure you don't compare the show to "Oceans 11."

Mike: I'm curious, how much do you think you have in common with Hardison?

Aldis Hodge: Well, all the personality and humor's there; the sarcasm is there. As far as skills as a hacker, he's way ...

July 22nd, 2009 10:07am EDT
Christian Kane - Leverage
It's always a bit disconcerting in an interview when it's mentioned by the interviewee that he could share a piece of information but, in exchange, he would have to kill you ... and in reality could actually pretty easily do just that. Christian Kane -- who stars as all around bad-ass Eliot Spencer on TNT's "Leverage" (Wednesday nights at 9 pm ET) -- joins us to discuss, well, a lot of things: Wrestling, Ultimate Fighting, Big XII Football, "The A-Team," Indiana Jones ... Oh, and that TV show he stars on, "Leverage," -- about a gang of con-people who take down the rich to create 'leverage' ...

March 20th, 2009 11:49am EDT
Leverage
Relentless. Sad. Ronin. Hopeful. Odd. These are the words stand-up comedian-turned physicist-turned writer John Rogers uses to describe the main characters of his successful TNT drama, Leverage, about a group of thieves out to help those who need more than the law can provide. Despite many successful jobs together, on February 24th, after getting revenge on the former boss of Timothy Hutton's Nate Ford, the first season finale saw the team - Nate, Sophie, Eliot, Hardison, and Parker - going their separate ways.
