Vincent D'Onofrio is urging profile website bosses to get their facts straight - because his wife is tired of reading notes suggesting the couple is unwed or divorced.

The "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" star has been married to his second wife Carin van der Donk for 16 years and he can't believe the information he reads online about his status.

He tells BlogTalkRadio.com, "My wife goes on there (online) occasionally and they still have us as not being married. There's some thing about us getting divorced or something. It's ridiculous.

"I'm married to my wife almost 16 years now. I just w...

Top Ten Creepiest Fictional Serial Killers
Factual serial killers are scary. The idea that someone might be out there, on a deserted road or lurking in an alleyway, waiting to murder you is a horrible, horrible thought. Vincent Donofrio
Vincent D'Onofrio is back on the force after leaving cop show Law & Order: Criminal Intent - he will replace Jeff Goldblum on the 10th season of the drama.

Goldblum stepped in to take over from D'Onofrio last year when the actor retired his Detective Bobby Goren character and took time out to deal with a nervous exhaustion issue, which was diagnosed five years ago.

But Goldblum's stint on the show was not a huge success and "Law & Order" creator Dick Wolf asked D'Onofrio to return.

He tells USA Today, "I liked doing the show, but after working on it for so many years, I did need a break....

(*Firstly, if you don't get the joke in the title, visit Failblog. I'll wait.)

There's been a tremendous response to my Tuesday article about the reasons why I'm not excited about TV romance. It's been really awesome to hear from fans of various shows and pairings, who wrote in with their own opinions and ideas, and helped create a great discussion of the topic and the issues surrounding it - most importantly, with respect for me and for each other.

As is natural and perfectly fine, there were some people who disagreed with my lack of enthusiasm. One reader suggested that romantic r...
