Joel Kinnaman opens up about Robocop wardrobe malfunction

Robocop star Joel Kinnaman's suit handler on the film set had a "rough job" because he often came face to face with the actor's penis while undressing him.

One crewmember was responsible for making sure The Killing star's robot costume was buffed and he helped Kinnaman get out of it at the end of a shoot day - or whenever he needed to relieve himself - and that led to many embarrassing moments.

The actor explains, "There were all these different parts that you had to take off and then the final part was, like, this rubber suit and underneath I was only wearing a unitard.

Actor Joel Kinnaman almost missed out on the chance to star in the Robocop remake after initially convincing himself he wasn't right for the role.

The Killing star admits he wasn't too keen on the idea of stepping into Peter Weller's shoes as the futuristic police officer and at first passed up the offer.

He tells MTV News, "I was actually a little hesitant and I told them (producers), 'I don't think that's a good fit for me.'"

Netflix Revives 'The Killing'

Cult AMC favorite "The Killing" is getting resurrected for a third time. Netflix plans on airing six new episodes of the series for a fourth, final season.

AMC will not be involved in the final season, but stars Joel Kinnaman and Mireille Enos, the writing staff and crew are all on board. The final episodes will involve a new case, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Actress Mireille Enos is holding out hope her scrapped series The Killing will be resurrected, insisting she was "disappointed" to learn the show had been axed.

The American version of the hit Danish crime thriller, starring Enos as detective Sarah Linden, was first axed in 2012 but was brought back to life after AMC network bosses struck a deal with streaming website Netflix.

It was announced earlier this week (11Sep13) that the show would be cancelled again due to falling viewer figures but Enos isn't ruling out the chance of another revival.

AMC has canceled "The Killing" for a second time. The series, which is based on a hit Danish crime thriller, was first axed in 2012. Network execs revived it after striking a deal with Netflix.

Low viewership led to its cancellation. The show drew 1.5 million viewers during its third season summer finale, which was significantly lower than the record 2.7 million viewers that tuned in when the program first premiered in 2011.

Danish actor Lars Mikkelsen has landed a villainous new role in the upcoming third season of hit TV series Sherlock.

The star of cult Danish drama The Killing will portray the title character in the TV adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle's crime novel The Adventure of Charles Augustus Milverton, about a blackmailer who cons wealthy nobles.

Benedict Cumberbatch plays the modern version of Doyle's literary supersleuth, Sherlock Holmes, on the popular BBC show, opposite Martin Freeman.

AMC has canceled "The Killing" after just two seasons. Following the conclusion of season two last month, the detective show, based on the gritty Danish series of the same name, won't be returning for a third.
